Never ever enough

Come on guys, I know I don't put up that many posts, but I've said before, and I'll say it again, that I can only write things when i'm in the right mood, namely when I am actually having feelings, otherwise i'd just have to make up things on the spot, and from you've probably seen, they're kinda boring. so GET OFF MY BACK! MUAHAHAHA!

WHOO! Last day! Kinda sad that I'm sitting here and blogging about it, instead of actually going out there and doing something about it, but what da heck, "Time's an illusion; and lunch time is doubly so", even though it's not lunch, you know what I mean.

So...wattup. Guess it's been kinda of an intersting week. Instead of spreading out our going out for the entire week, we managed to shove it all into ONE day on Monday, go us, what a feat. Would've been better if there was a good dessert place nearby afterwards, like Trampoline, but alas, it was not meant to be. Been spending SO much time with these peope of mine, and I'm glad for it, seeing as we may not be able to spend this kind of quality time together next year, what with clinics and all. Kinda sad really, for we lose a lot of things that we would otherwise have spent time doing, such as practising our swing so that it feels natural and flowing to us, such as spending time at a coffee shop talking about the most trivial of issues and still have a good time. Sure glad I got to experience this kinda stuff, since I never had much of it during high school, and it should more than make up for any lack of contact we will experience for the next two years.

OMG, there might not even BE clinics for us next year, WHAT A JOKE! Screwed up democracy is gonna once again crap on those who put in the hard yards to get what they deserve, only to have it taken away by the government so that they could spend it on other cock-ups who they should be paying for anyway.

Speaking of physio...there is yet another joke. Bloody lecturers and their "lack of evidence" lectures, JOKE! Just because something doesn't have enough or any evidence that it works doesn't mean that it doesn't work! (hey, 3 "doesn't"s in the same sentence). That's how we find out whether or not things work in the first place, by EMPIRICAL knowledge, that of your own and other's experience. It's not like they've been doing these kind of studies since the beginning of western medicine and therapy hundreds of years ago, nor did they ever need studies throughout the thousands of years of Chinese Medicine. Both systems, at the most basic level, simply piled up all the empirical knowledge that they found to effective and useful for whatever condition. Numbers that researchers randomly pull out of a study have no real meaning, as the numbers won't be the ones treating your condition. For most things, there's a placebo effect anyway, and it itself is as good a treatment for any condition, as are real and "proven" effective treatments. There should be no need to have to prove that anything works and how, rather, they should focus on the results to find out what truly does work or not, despite the mechanism. Treatment techniques and modalities are but tiny pistols we add to our arsenal of knowledge against pathology, and every weapon counts when you're in a fight, especially when you're losing.
