I feel that that should be an appropriate start to what will be a long evening of updating this dusty ol' blog which I have regretfully neglected over these...almost last two months. But alas, I am not to blame, for the chains that we shackle ourselves to simply cannot be torn off, and they grip onto us no tighter than that period we know as SWOTVAC. *click here to check out next year's timetable...ARGH!!* It seems that I never have the same SWOTVAC more than once, and whaddya know, same thing happened this semester. A couple of "good friends of mine" came over for a few of those days, and I must say, they're VAMPIRES!!! Practically 1/3 of our entire lives are spent sleeping, but these girls *not you Keegs : )* seem to wanna break some rules, nay, LAWS of biology. They'd get up early in the morning, stroll on over to the library, then plant themselves there for a good bit of the day until it's meal time, and then go back and stay there till like 2 in the freakin' morning!!!. We're meant to spend 16 hrs of our day awake and active, and 8 of it asleep. not the other way around! That said, I did get a lot of study done, and was taught a lot of things I'm certain that I needed in the exams, and in turn, repayed their patience with some of my own understandings of neurology and physiotherapy.
Compared to my usual SWOTVAC sleeping and study patterns, this time I was really blown away from the amout of study we actually did and the study we HAD to do in order to do well in the exams we had. We cooked lunch everyday, and man, there were ups and downs. Mostly ups for me, since I have little qualms about food, but wow, the things you can do with a rice cooker and a fridge, hehehe. They did receive weird looks during dinner and lunch, as they came down to our dining hall for those meals, however, what with all the highly tensioned stress everyone was feeling from exams, these guys were quickly forgotten about, and eyebrows were raised no more. Not only was it a good study environment, but also a good time for some bonding.
The exams themselves weren't too bad afterall, I decided. However, I always find myself feeling confident after those exams, even though the actual result of what I achieved might not be that satisfactory. But hey, I'm getting by, and I guess that's what matters for these next few years. *in the next chapter, ROAD TRIP!!!*
